so me and my best friend stevie were messing around with my laptop, a camera, and a microphone. Put all those together and what do you get? Us on justin.tv doing a live broadcast, of course!
We're not very good at it, but it's sorta fun. We even got up to 7 viewers at one time. amazing. Well, the jonas brothers do a live broadcast sometimes, and you can ask them questions that they will answer. its all just fun.
thats all i guess. have a good labor day and hope that i dont die from hurricane gustav!

freshmeat.
well. this week was my highly anticipated first week of high school. it was AMAZING!
i love high school already. i have some VERY weird teachers, but my classes are great. I have band camp after school three days a week for 2.5-3 hours each. Our first football game is in 2 weeks! ah!
So, tropical storm Fay was headed straight for Pensacola[my tiny town] yesterday, and I could not stand being stuck in my house! Me and my childhood friend stevie decided to have a movie night. We watched camp rock and the game plan. they were good. we eventually started reading a J-14 magazine. We read every article with the words "nick", "kevin", "joe", and "jonas" in them. Amazingly, it was over half the magazine.
Later that night, we ended up talking about how freakin' awesome it would be to have the jonas brothers or hawk nelson as friends! Somehow we ended up talking about future presidential asassinations. It was... interesting. I can tell you this: I'm not looking forward to this presidential election.
I got a new theme song this week. Because of my obsession with music,[making and listening] my new theme song is "play my music" by the jonas brothers. It's also in Camp Rock.
with much boredom at the moment.

breaking dawn countdownitis.
B.D. Countdownitis is a very serious... um. disease? whatever. the point is that the very much anticipated fourth book in the twilight series comes out in less than 4 hours!
me and my friend are going to a premiere party at our local barnes and noble.
it's prom themed and you are supposed to dress up like one of the characters, BUT because I don't resemble any of the characters i just bought a cut dress at a thrift store today. [do you know how hard it is to find a prom dress in the middle of summer?]
well. my mom should be coming home soon so we can leave.
i will try to post some pictures tomorrow.
wish me luck... i don't know why i need luck, but just do it!

too much to handle...
wow. sorry i haven't blogged in a while. so much has been going on lately.
canada cakes, waterslides into the gulf of mexico, mission trip prep, boating... i should probably explain.
canada cakes (ok, so wanna be canada cakes.)
me and my friend stevie decided to make a canada cake to celebrate canada day(which was July 1st). she didn't actually come over until the 4th of July, so we celebrated canada day on independence day. :) so patriotic. it turned out... quite bad. utterly repulsive actually.
waterslides into the gulf of mexico (or the innercoastal waterway)
on the 4th of july the community right across the highway were having a firework show. they also had a 30 foot slip and slide! instead of ending in a pool though, it went straight in to the gulf of mexico! it was soo fun, well until we had to stop because all the drunk people showed up...
mission trip prep. (4 days!)
ahh! i didn't realize it was so close! we leave saturday at 4AM! ahhhh! i'm excited all of the sudden. well, since it's so close we've been franticly preparing EVERYTHING! we have so much to do up there! the 14 hour ride up there in 12 passenger vans should be as fun as usual, too.
boating. (lots of it)
so, my dad has pulled me out of bed two days in a row to go boating! ugh. it's fun, but this is summer vacation! wake me up at noon! don't get me wrong, i had fun... we drove the boat up to waffle house and had breakfast. yum. i even got to drive! i'm planning on taking the test online to get my boating liscense soon. fun fun fun. i got to watch my brother wakeboard. that was actually sorta fun. i was photographer. i got some great ones of him in the air. :)
wow. i didn't mean to bore you to death with my ranting of what i should have blogged about. sorry. really. geez. i apolagized! cut me some slack!
now i'm off to my friends house, and she just got back from australia! then i'm off to yet another night of band camp. ugh. wish me luck.

jaren. daniel. and jonathan. oh my.
wow. so... i get home from band camp today, and call my childhood friend because i got a text message during camp that said: "WE WON!!"
you're probably wondering what we won, but it's a secret. haha. just kidding. we won this stuffed star named jaren that was created by daniel biro. if you don't who that is, he's the bass player for hawk nelson.

well, all the money raised from jaren goes toward the hands and feet foundation in haiti. so, it's a great cause, which is why we did it. it goes to a boy named franchiyou. :) so, me and stevie put our money together and this morning at 9:21AM we won jaren. i'm so excited. :)
so here i am screaming and jumping up and down and she adds: "jonathan e-mailed me back, too!" if you don't know who that is, he's the guitar player for hawk nelson. ironic, eh?

well, i go to my e-mail and i look and i get all sad because i don't have an e-mail from jonathan. so i'm sad and happy at the same time, but nonetheless, i go back to my mom's e-mail account because she likes to have it waiting when she gets home from work... and there, at the top of the list is: "jonathan steingard RE: hey jon."
of course i scream again. haha. then i remember that i have retarded e-mail, so i chill out a little and read the e-mail.
by now, i'm like the happiest person in the world. haha. it's true.

band camp.
this one time, at band camp...
haha. just kidding.
i can actually say that now though because for the first three weeks of my summer, i've been spending them at band camp.
i was actually quite surprised to discover that there are TONS of different marching techniques and formations, but i'm a band geek, so you know i love what i do.
today we were working on flank boxes, slide boxes, and floats. (you probably have no idea what i'm talking about.) it's brutal standing at attention for so long, but i'm hoping to get some muscle in my arms.
yeah right. like that's ever gonna happen.
today was our last tuesday morning. by the end of this week, freshmen camp will be over, and we will start our full band camp where we learn the half-time show. yay. not. well, maybe.
if you're wondering, i play 3 instruments. (four really, but i'm not too proud of my trumpet skills. haha.)
bass guitar. clarinet. and tenor saxaphone.
if you ever wanna find me, look for "the pride" (band name) of escambia high school in pensacola, florida.
stay cool. i know i sure won't. not in florida anyway.

stevie lee.
this is a picture of my childhood friend.
her name is stevie lee, and she is so goofy.
every year we go on a mission trip together and we do many wacky things year round.
if you see us together, it's not a rare occurance.
we've even been called sisters before. which is weird because we do not have the slightest resemblence.
anyway, i love her to death. she won't admit it though because she's not big on "physical contact." or affection at all.
wherever life takes us, i know where i can always find her. no, not in my heart. at a hawk nelson concert.
well. before i have to worry about that far in the future, i have to worry about this friday. june the 20th. it's going to be stevie's birthday and i got her the coolest prestent. haha. her mom set me with the task of helping to decide what to do for her party, but stevie can't know. so, shhh.
